Prior to joining First Person Care Consultants, Susan Rothe was a Lead Supervisor at the Milwaukee Center for Independence, supervising more than 10 case managers and RNs in providing long-term care services to members in the My Choice Family Care program. She earned her BA degree in psychology from UW-Milwaukee, and an MA in gerontology from Mount Mary University. Ms. Rothe has more than 19 years of experience in working with resources for people with disabilities in Milwaukee County. She began her career working in a Community Based Residential Facility setting, followed by work in a Community Support Program which transitioned to the Family Care Program. She has a wealth of knowledge about community resources. She enjoys building a rapport with families while assisting them to connect with the resources they need to reach their life goals. When she isn't working, Ms. Rothe enjoys hiking with her husband, watching sports, and spending time with her children and pets.
