Marsha Zych (pronounced 'Zick') has been working with people who have physical and developmental disabilities, mental illness as well as frail elders for more than 14 years. She has also been a caregiver for a child with autism. She switched her focus from secretarial work to social work at the age of 43, and earned her bachelor's degree in human services and health care administration. Marsha went on to complete her master's degree in human services at Capella University.
She was a Family Care Lead Supervisor at the Milwaukee Center for Independence, supervising a staff of 12 case managers and RNs, before joining First Person Care Consultants. Marsha said it is her "great joy to see people achieve their goals and live life to their fullest potential." In her spare time, she enjoys reading mysteries, watching vintage black and white movies, and spending time with her six grandchildren and 5-pound chihuahua, Bootsie Sue.
